How to use 4U VPN
4U is meant to be simple: install, allow the system VPN profile, choose a location, and connect. Here is the flow most users follow.
1. Install
Get 4U from the App Store (iOS 16+) or Google Play (Android 9+). Prefer the official store listings linked from 4uvpn.net so you get the real app.
2. Allow VPN permission
The first connection asks your operating system to add a VPN configuration. This is normal for any VPN app. Confirm only if you installed 4U from a trusted store.
3. Choose a server and connect
Open the app, pick a country or recommended server, and tap connect. Wait until the status shows you are connected before assuming traffic is tunneled.
4. Free session vs Premium
Free use is a timed session with ads. When time runs out, the connection stops. Premium removes that limit for the subscription period. There is no 3-day trial offer.
If something fails
- Toggle airplane mode or switch networks and reconnect
- Try another server location
- Update the app from the store
- Contact support via the Contacts page if the issue continues
